Memorandum of Understanding between EMPI Business School and HDFC Bank Ltd was signed on 30 January 2008. On behalf of EMPI Business School Col K Guruswamy (Retd), HoD, Deptt of EBA & MBA and on behalf of HDFC Bank Ltd, Mr. Anuj Taneja, Senior Manager, HR, HDFC Bank Ltd Mumbai signed the same.

The purpose of this MOU is to promote cooperation and advancement of Academic and Business exchanges between the two institutions. Under this MOU, a Joint Certificate Course will be offered as part of regular MBA Course.

Subsequent to the MoU, selection process for Joint Certification Programme was carried out on 28 March 2008. Seven Students of PGP_EBA & MBA were finally selected to undergo this programme. They will under go the programme during the third semester and obtain certification in Retail Banking.
